The State Training Centre of the Bharat Scouts and Guides is situated in the middle Himachal Pradesh in Mandi at Rewalsar. The State Headquarters, had a dream about a place where all Scouts could meet, learn from each other and live in peace. BSGHP'S dream came true and now YOU have the opportunity to visit Our State Training Centre and live YOUR Dream! Situated at 1,200 metres above the sea level, 22 Kms from Mandi city, State Training Center is easily reached by road. It provides an excellent base for exploring nature, for scout adventures and for meeting lots of other Scouts from everywhere. The Centre is well planned and constructed to cater the needs of the Cubs, Bulbuls, Scouts, Guides, Rovers, Rangers and the Adult Leaders.
Currently, there are 4 Main Blocks in the Training Centre

There are sufficient facilities to cater the need of the full capacity of the Centre. STC offers a very wide range of programme activities throughout the year. These are designed to allow the Scouts to experience new activities with people from other places. Our Centre is an amazing place also thanks to the work of our team of volunteers. They come and stay here to look after our guests, help maintain it and develop it for the future.
There are various Scouting Camps spanning for about 100 days and Training Programmes for Adult Leaders spanning for about 70 days in a year organised by the State Headquarters, most of these are organised at the Centre.
Many States visits Himachal Pradesh for their Programmes like Trekking Camps, Hikes, Scouter Guider Conferences every year. This Centre is a very good venue for them.
The Training Centre may be provided to other Scout State of BSG for their training courses. The centre may be given to other agencies of Youth Development like NCC, NSS for their activities. For some of the pre-fixed days, the Centre can be given on contract basis to Event Managers.
